From the New Deal to the Raw Deal:
An Annotated Chronology of the Events that Have Changed the United States

The book includes the major events of the period that would be covered in any standard textbook plus those events either barely publicized at the time or completely unknown to the average American, events that are vulnerable to sliding down into the Black Hole of History.

The book is written from a progressive prospective but with the responsible stance of an historian. (I had two years of graduate work in American History at The Johns Hopkins University and hold no one there accountable for the slant or any errors in this book!)

I chose the chronology format for the way it often clarifies the cause-and-effect of history. I have posted a few abstracts from this book-in-progress.
